I am currently supporting a very exciting Aerospace company working on some exciting projects that aim to make space travel more accessible. They are all about making the future of space flight a reality, their team is made up of some of the brightest minds in the industry, and they're looking to add more talent to help them tackle the big challenges ahead!!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, build, and maintain embedded flight software for space missions
- Test and analyze hardware/software solutions to make sure they perform at their best
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate systems
- Write and run tests to make sure everything works smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience with C/C++ development
- 5+ years of experience working with hardware and software integration
- Familiar with serial communications protocols (RS-232, RS-422, etc.)
- Ability to produce high-quality work at a fast pace
- A self-starter who loves problem-solving
- Comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- A genuine passion for space exploration!
Nice to Have
- Experience with GSFC Core Flight Software (CFS)
- Knowledge of xUnit testing frameworks
- Comfortable with Windows and POSIX-based operating systems
- Docker and containerization experience
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development
- Familiar with Git and version control best practices
